Minkah Fitzpatrick's Historic 109-Yard Pick-Six Buried Arkansas

Minkah Fitzpatrick is now one of the best safeties in the NFL having earned two Pro Bowl selections and two First-Team All-Pro selections in his young career with the Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before becoming the 2018 NFL Draft's 11th overall pick, Fitzpatrick was an absolute ballhawk for the Alabama Crimson Tide secondary. He recorded nine interceptions over his three-year career, including a school-record THREE against Arkansas in 2016.

Fitzpatrick cemented himself as a legend in Tuscaloosa when he returned one of those interceptions for a 109-yard pick-six.

How electric was that?

Minkah originally looked like he was going to play it safe and take a knee in the end zone, but one of his teammates waved to tell him to take it out. The result? 109 yards of pure, crimson glory.

Minkah Fitzpatrick turned in the greatest statistical night for a defensive back in Crimson Tide history that night as Alabama won, 49-30. He came up with three interceptions and the 100-yard touchdown return. The three picks tied a school record and the return set a record.

Minkah was an absolute joy to watch, and seeing him thrive in the NFL should surprise no one in Tuscaloosa.
