The Florida Gators have bolstered their offense in a big way, signing wide receiver Marcus Burke to join their 2021 recruiting class.
Burke has made an impact in high school at Jacksonville's Trinity Christian Academy and is more than ready for the next level of football.
The Gators may be losing their quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Kyle Trask to the NFL, but pieces like Burke are going to keep the SEC team in contention.

In addition to the Gators, Burke fielded offers from programs such as Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, Missouri, Penn State, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia.
Head coach Dan Mullen was able to land the Florida native without much of a fight; Burke committed to the team in July 2020, and the signee made it official in December.
Football recruiting in the age of COVID-19 hasn't been easy, but Burke and Mullen both made it work.

Florida's recruiting class is ranked fifth in the SEC, which is near the middle of the pack, but should be enough to render the Gators competitive for the next few seasons with the likes of Alabama and LSU.
Marcus Burke Highlights
Marcus Burke is a certified deep-ball threat. He has no issues getting past defensive backs and reaching the end zone. Burke is too fast for his competition to keep up.
In 2019, Burke totaled 831 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, and he added four more scores this past season.

The 247sports Composite tabs Burke as a four-star recruit, and it is easy to see why. The playmaker is explosive as can be and will have NFL teams taking long looks at him in a few seasons.
Working with wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales is going to boost Burke's stock as well.
Marcus Burke has the potential to be an impact wide receiver at the college level. The Gators could always do more to add to their class, but they do have the pieces in place to succeed in the nation's toughest conference.
