The LSU Tigers and head coach Ed Orgeron are putting together one of the best starts to a season since the start of this decade when Les Miles patrolled the sidelines in Death Valley. Already with three Top 10 wins over Miami, Auburn and Georgia, the program's resume for a College Football Playoff berth improves with every week.

One of the stars of LSU's season is graduate transfer kicker Cole Tracy. After coming over to LSU in the offseason, he's become a crowd favorite in Baton Rouge kicking field goals, but his leg isn't the only superhuman trait Tracy possesses. The kid is also a special teams savant.
In the words of the immortal Uncle Ben Parker, "With great power comes great responsibility," and Cole Tracy is proving that he has both.
When asked about a fake field goal that the Georgia Bulldogs attempted in their 36-16 loss to LSU, the senior kicker casually brushed past the fact that he knew exactly what was coming.
"What a play, huh? I remember watching that and, as a kicker you kind of look at things that people don't really look at. So I watched the kicker and the holder run onto the field, and they were kind of looking back at each other and nodding and stuff.
"I thought to myself, 'This is kind of weird. What's going to happen?' Sure enough, they ran a fake and Grant [Delpit] made an amazing play. I remember watching it live and being like, 'Wow, that's one of the best plays I've ever seen." — Cole Tracy, via Jacques Doucet on Twitter

So maybe Cole Tracy has some sort of mind-reading, spider-sense for special teams fakes, but he definitely doesn't exactly have a nose for "best plays ever."
On fourth down with nine yards to go late in the first quarter, Georgia attempted a fake field goal-flip to preseason All-American kicker Rodrigo Blankenship, reminiscent of great LSU fakes of the past.
Sophomore safety Grant Delpit, who is playing like an All-American in his own right this season, ranking second on the team in sacks and leading the team in interceptions, read the fake like a Dr. Seuss book and made the tackle without Georgia ever having a chance.

Through his team's first seven games, Cole Tracy ranks fifth in the nation in scoring (74 points) and leads the SEC in field goals per game (2.43).
The kid might be an All-SEC kicker by the end of the year, and if coach Ed Orgeron ever needs to know if a fake is coming, just bring Tracy to the sideline and let his kicker-senses to the rest.
