Last week was an interesting one for Alex Rodriguez. First of all, the former New York Yankees slugger got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, on a beautiful beach with a rumored $1 million ring. However, maybe the most interesting part of this story is the reaction of the one and only Jose Canseco.
Canseco spent the first day of the engagement calling OUT Rodriguez for being a fraud and claiming that his ex-wife Jessica Canseco and Rodriguez have been carrying on an affair behind J-Lo's back.
Canseco wasn't finished yet. He continued to troll on social media, claiming that A-Rod was talking his ex-wife a few months back, and he was there to witness it all

Now, first of all, let's admit that Canesco was right a few years ago when he called out his former baseball buddies for their PED use, but let's also admit that he is a snitch, too. He could be telling the truth about A-Rod or he could be trying to drum up publicity for himself.
Let's not also forget that A-Rod has lied in the past, but has seemed to have turned over a new leaf.
Canseco's ex-wife, Jessica Canseco, came out with a statement of her own denying the affair and calling out her ex-husband for his statements.
"Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! I have known Alex for many years and haven't even seen him for over 5 years. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends."

Caneseco didn't take too kindly to his ex's statement and wants to challenge both to take a polygraph test to prove him wrong.
He also wants to fight A-Rod in a boxing match or an MMA match soon, too.
As for A-Rod, he has yet to respond to Canesco's claims, which is probably smart on his part because it seems as if Canseco is just looking for a response or a rise out of the former superstar to promote a few upcoming events of his own, including a new movie that was listed on his Twitter page.
So, this all could be one big publicity stunt or maybe the truth. Who knows? But one thing is for sure: it's never boring when Jose Canseco is involved.
