The future of the NBA is in good hands with Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic.
It seems the Slovenian point guard is hitting a buzzer-beater on ESPN or recording a triple-double every two seconds. The clutch gene must be strong in his mother Mirjam Poterbin and father Sasa Doncic because his crunch-time shots always seem to go in no matter the degree of difficulty.
Regards to the LA Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and anyone else who is on the receiving end of the his icy shots.
The 23-year-old is already one of the best NBA players in the same ranks as LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. The explosion in fame hasn't changed his dedication to his roots.
The professional basketball player has known his model girlfriend since a young age.

Doncic and Goltes met on the beach in Croatia when they were 12. They still keep the same group of friends over a decade later.
The couple started dating in 2016 before splitting for a short time and reconnecting in 2018. After Luka was selected third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks and traded to the Mavs, Goltes moved with him to the Lone Star State.
Goltes, a fellow Slovenia native, is a model, dancer and fitness instructor. She previously studied business and economics at the University of Ljubljana prior to her modeling career taking priority while Luka was developing on Real Madrid in the Euroleague.
She is active on social media and regularly posts on her Instagram story and goes on Instagram Live to answer questions about her and Luka's life.
The couple travels a lot for their respective careers and seem to have found a home base in northern Texas. Goltes told a fan during an Instagram Live session in March 2020 that Dallas was starting to feel more like home, according to the New York Post.
"Dallas is a lot like Europe," she said. "I love Dallas. It reminds me of home."
Luka — the 2019 NBA Rookie of the Year, three-time All-NBA First Team member, three-time NBA All-Star, and perennial MVP candidate — is well on his way to a promising basketball career by racking up points, assists and rebounds like it's no one's business. Michael Jordan has certainly taken notice, as he showed Luka some love at the 2022 NBA All-Star Game and signed him to his Jordan Brand early in his career. He also led the Mavericks to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2011. Even though they lost to Step Curry and the Golden State Warriors in five games, Luka proved his capable of carrying a team deep into the playoffs.
