Former Oakland Raiders superstar Tim Brown is widely considered as one of the greatest NFL wide receivers of all time.

American football player Timothy Donell Brown was raised in Dallas, Texas, and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame.
His best year with the Fighting Irish came as a senior, during which Brown caught 39 passes for 846 yards and three touchdowns. That season, Brown was named to the college football All-America team, won the Walter Camp Award for Player of the Year, and was even crowned as a Heisman Trophy winner.
Brown was the first-ever wide receiver to win the Heisman, setting the bar for Desmond Howard and Devonta Smith.
After his senior season, Brown declared for the 1988 NFL Draft. He was selected in the first round (sixth overall) by the Los Angeles Raiders.
Throughout his career as a professional football player, Brown made nine Pro Bowls and one Second-Team All-Pro. In addition, Brown caught 100 career touchdown receptions and recorded nearly 15,000 receiving yards.
Brown played 16 seasons for the Raiders before leaving the franchise in 2004 to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year deal. After starting just four games in 2004, Brown retired in 2005.
He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 in a class with Junior Seau, Jerome Bettis, and Bill Polian.
