One of the biggest stars in WWE over the last decade, John Cena is reportedly in for a big-time matchup at WrestleMania, which could include the Undertaker, Goldberg, Batista or even Hulk Hogan.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, rumors of Cena matching up against AJ Styles at 'Mania aren't accurate. Cena is reportedly slated for a "much bigger match" than Styles, "bigger than the WWE title," and expectations are that the match will be set at the 25th Anniversary of Monday Night Raw.
Meltzer does at skepticism on Hogan being the guy for the match, noting his age, back problems and the fact that he'd need to be cleared to return to the ring by sponsors following his ugly recorded rant. Jim Ross has added he'd be "shocked" if Hogan wasn't back in WWE in 2018, though.
Batista has been open about returning to the WWE full-time, Goldberg left abruptly after last year's WrestleMania and the Undertaker recently underwent surgery on his hip. He was seen at Ric Flair's 30 for 30 premiere in Atlanta, and seemed to be moving around just fine.
Cena returned to Monday Night Raw in a match with up-and-comer Elias. He also appeared at Survivor Series as a member of Team Smackdown, and his last big-time match was against Roman Reigns at No Mercy.
