Ah, the Iron Bowl. Not only is it considered one of college football's greatest rivalry games, it almost always has national championship implications. From the Auburn Tigers winning the first game in Birmingham back in 1893 to the Alabama Crimson Tide's 52-point outburst in 2018, iconic moments, legendary comebacks and SEC Championship Game implications are everywhere. No single day, however, is more important to today's fans than November 30, 2013.
Tied at 28, Alabama kicker Adam Griffith lined up for a 57-yard field goal attempt to win the game. That kick fell short into the waiting arms of All-American cornerback Chris Davis, who returned the missed field goal 108 yards for the game-winning touchdown at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Today, it's famously known as "The Kick-Six."

That moment launched Davis, a Birmingham, Alabama native, into the upper echelon of Auburn football legends. While a prolific NFL career didn't pan out in stops with the San Diego Chargers and San Francisco 49ers, Davis is still chasing his dream of playing pro football. He signed with the Birmingham Iron in the now-defunct Alliance of American Football (AAF) and was the 11th-round pick of the Seattle Dragons in the 2020 XFL Draft.
