Life can get hard when you're away from home battling medical issues, especially when your treatment takes you all the way from Breman, Georgia up north to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. That trek is obviously made more difficult, though, when you're only 10.
10-year-old Georgia Bulldogs superfan Luke Clayton spent several weeks in Ohio while recovering from treatment for Benign Rolandic epilepsy in 2018. The lifelong Georgia football fan was given the surprise hospital visit of a lifetime when one of his favorite college football players ever, who happened to grow up just 20 miles away from Clayton's hometown, walked in the door.
Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb, who left Georgia as the program's second-leading rusher of all time, trailing only Herschel Walker, is now a key offensive weapon alongside quarterback Baker Mayfield.
During his off day, Chubb paid one his biggest fans a visit to his hospital room, and when the larger-than-life football star walked in the door, Luke's face is nothing short of priceless.

Luke had always wanted to meet his Georgia football idol, and thanks to Everett Sports Marketing and Luke's family, the 10-year-old's dream finally came true. Once Luke finally caught his breath, the 2018 second-round draft pick gave Luke a few gifts, including a shirt and signed football.
During his short time with the Browns, Chubb set a franchise record with a 92-yard touchdown run against the Atlanta Falcons, and he racked up 755 yards from scrimmage and eight total touchdowns through the first 12 weeks of the 2018 NFL season. Through two years, he has nearly 3,000 total yards.
I'm sure topics of discussion were Luke's health, the upcoming SEC Championship game, and their mutual disdain for all things Alabama.
Seeing an NFL player give back to the community is always a great reminder that simple gestures make the biggest impact, but this one goes a long way considering how far one Georgia boy has traveled just get healthy, and how special reuniting two Georgia natives can really be.
