Julie Brady, Tom Brady's Sister, is Married to Another New England Sports Legend

Former Boston Red Sox star third baseman Kevin Youkilis is beloved in Beantown after calling Fenway Park home for nine MLB seasons. Youkilis, with one of the game's wildest batting stances, won two World Series titles with the franchise and is a local hero in Boston today. Still, even he may have punched above his popularity level when it came to his romantic life, has he and Julie Brady, the sister of Tom Brady, tied the knot.

Former Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis is married to Julie Brady, the daughter of Galynn and Tom Sr.

Julie Brady, of course, is Tom Brady's sister, essentially making her the most-respected woman in the state of Massachusetts.

While her brother was the face of Boston sports during his run with the New England Patriots, Julie's husband was getting things done on the baseball diamond. As for her job, the St. Mary's College graduate works as a special education teacher.

Youkilis and Brady met at a fundraiser in 2010. However, Youkilis was reasonably nervous about approaching her due to her brother's stature. Youk eventually got the courage to ask out the Super Bowl champ's sister, and the couple got married in 2012.

They had a private wedding ceremony, which was attended by the NFL star (his new brother-in-law) and his wife, Gisele Bundchen.

As for their immediate family members, Youkilis and Brady have two children together: sons Zachary and Jeremy. They also raise daughter Jordan from Julie's previous marriage.

The family currently lives in Los Gatos, California. Youk runs a brewing company after he purchased the Los Gatos Brewing Company and rebranded it as the Loma Brewing Company.

Before his marriage to Julie Brady, Youkilis was informally married to Enza Sambataro. The two enjoyed a wedding ceremony in Cabo, San Lucas, Mexico, in 2008, but their union was never formalized.

Sambataro was in charge of the Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids Foundation until the pair split up around 2009.

Kevin Youkilis' Career

Kevin Edmund Youkilis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Greek parents Carolyn and Mike Youkilis. The baseball player attended high school at Sycamore High School before staying in-state and playing ball at the University of Cincinnati.

Youkilis was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the eighth round of the 2001 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2004.

Throughout his career in Boston, the slugger hit 133 home runs and drove in 564 RBI. Youk was a three-time All-Star and a two-time World Series Champion during his stay in Boston, which lasted from 2004-2012.

Youk featured in more than 900 regular season games for the Red Sox and 29 playoff games.

In 2012, the former first baseman was traded to the Chicago White Sox, where he'd spend half of a season before moving to New York City and joining the New York Yankees in 2013.

He'd play the final season of his career in pinstripes, retiring after the conclusion of his one-year deal.

According to reports, Kevin Youkilis boasts an estimated net worth of $24 million, and reportedly pocketed more than $51 million throughout his MLB career.
