Since arriving in 2013, the Orange County, California native has played in over 100 games for the Birds, including several playoff games, and he is discussed on ESPN as one of the premier tight ends in the NFL, though Travis Kelce would like a word.

For all the die-hard fans the 30-year-old has amassed during his time in Philly, his wife Julie Ertz is equally beloved. The NFL player and the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team star have been dominating their respective fields since high school, but they didn't meet until college.

Together, the two represent a remarkably successful sports power couple.

Who is Zach Ertz's Wife Julie Ertz?

Zach Ertz is married to professional soccer player Julie Ertz (née Johnston), a member of the U.S. women's national team.

Julie and Zach met for the first time in college at a Stanford University baseball game. At the time, Zach was a tight end for the Cardinal while Julie played soccer at Santa Clara University.

Zach proposed to Julie at Klein Field at Sunken Diamond, the same place they met in 2016. The couple got married in 2017 in Santa Barbara, California, at the Ritz-Carlton Bacara.

Julie Ertz plays professionally for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women's Soccer League. Ertz is a two-time FIFA Women's World Cup winner, winning with the USWNT in 2015 and 2019. Ertz didn't score in the 2019 13-0 Thailand rout as Carli Lloyd did, but she did take part in the flogging.

Then-Eagles head coach Doug Pederson excused Zach from the Eagles' minicamp in 2019 to travel to France to watch Julie become the 2019 Women's World Cup Champion.

The 29-year-old midfielder has been named U.S. Women's Soccer Player of the Year twice, in 2017 and 2019. She's on the U.S. Soccer roster again for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics team alongside champ Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe.

Ertz's professional soccer career began in 2014 when she was drafted into the NWSL as the third-overall pick by the Chicago Red Stars. She earned her first cap for the United States in 2013 in a match against Scotland.

When Ertz is not occupied with her life as a soccer star, whether for her club or Team USA, she roots for her husband in his football endeavors.

Back in 2018, Julie was playing for the U.S. women's soccer team in a friendly clash with Denmark. The game took place while Zach's Eagles challenged the Vikings in the NFC Championship game.

Julie didn't find out the result until after the game. Her heartfelt reaction to finding out Zach was Super Bowl-bound was captured on camera in a touching moment. Zach was emotional in the Eagles locker room after the win when people played the clip back for him.

Zach Ertz & Julie Ertz Net Worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the Philadelphia Eagles star is worth an estimated $16 million. Meanwhile, Julie boasts an estimated net worth of $3 million.

The Ertz family does everything together, from social media to philanthropy. The Ertz Family Foundation is a community organization the couple runs together.

Zach and Julie have won over the hearts of fans in Philly over the years, and fans will be thankful to see the tight end return amid rumors he may not make the team in 2021. But first, his wife has a gold medal to win.
