Bobby Taylor is an excellent prospect. In addition to being ranked as a four-star cornerback in the 2022 recruiting class, he has solid football bloodlines. His father, Bobby Taylor Sr., spent 10 years in the NFL.

After taking control of the defense at Katy High School, Taylor had college football programs from all across the country taking notice. He chose to remain close to home and committed to the Texas A&M Aggies in February 2021.

As expected, Bobby Taylor Jr. had some big-time programs offer him.
Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Houston, Kansas, LSU, Memphis, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Penn State, TCU, Texas, USC, and Utah, among others, all tried to lure the star defensive back. Arkansas had interest as well.
Notre Dame is the alma mater of the eldest Bobby Taylor, who made the Pro Bowl in 2002, but it looks like his son will carve his own path.

Of course, there is always a chance that Taylor can de-commit from the Aggies by the time he graduates, especially since he still has a senior season to play.
For Texas A&M fans, they are hoping the stewardship of head coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff will be enough to convince Taylor to stay for the long haul.
Taylor took to social media to make his announcement, and he plans to join a Texas A&M squad that hopes to make a meaningful College Football Playoff run in the coming seasons.
With Fisher at the helm, the Aggies could be a great for years, but juggernauts like Alabama and Georgia will certainly have something to say about that.
Bobby Taylor Highlights
Bobby Taylor looks as explosive as any player on the field in this video. With his help on the defense, the Katy Tigers won a state championship in 2020.
While Taylor still has a year of high school football to develop his skills, it is mightily impressive that he and his team have reached these heights already.
Taylor is an impact performer and incredible athlete. He won't be arriving at College Station for a couple of years, but he is a name to look out for in the future.
