Need some motivation? Do a quick search for “Tim Tebow speeches.” You’ll find enough to keep you busy for days. From “The Promise” that led the Florida Gators to a national title to his NFL playoff heroics with the Denver Broncos, and even as a man of God, Tebow delivers every single time. The current New York Mets minor league baseball player tugs your heart strings, dishes out goosebumps, and inspires everyone around him to greatness with his motivational speeches.

One of his best came at halftime of the 2009 BCS National Championship Game. Tied 7-7 with Sam Bradford and the Oklahoma Sooners, the Gators were in a dog fight. They needed a spark, and who should supply it than their All-American quarterback.

Tebow’s speech powered the University of Florida and head coach Urban Meyer to victory, winning the title in a 24-14 classic in Miami Gardens. Tebow was named the game’s Offensive MVP.

Tim Tebow National Championship Halftime Speech

“Let’s go! Get in here. Get in here right now. Get in here. We got 30 minutes for the rest of our lives. 30 minutes for the rest of our lives. That’s our bad in the first half. It ain’t happening. We get the ball, I promise you one thing. We’re going to hit somebody, and we’re taking it down the field for a touchdown. I guarantee you that. Look at me! Look at me! We got 30 minutes for the rest of our lives. Let’s go!”

No one in Gainesville will forget it. But there are people who may have never seen it, or are learning more about the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner as he continues his career in the public eye as an ESPN college football analyst.

The same goes for his new wife, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

Miss Universe 2017 has a heart of gold. The South African-born actress and model met Tebow back in 2017, and they were married at this beautiful ceremony in her home country. During the coronavirus quarantine of 2020, the couple had a little fun with Tebow’s old Florida football gear as Demi-Leigh recreated Tebow’s iconic speech with a little twist of her own.

If there is a perfectly-matched couple, you’re looking at them. A little fun in quarantine definitely brought a big smile to my face, and hopefully yours.
