Everyone knows, though, that it's the fielding that can make or break a game and even a season. Tuscaloosa is home to some of the finest glovework in the nation and the SEC, which is part of why the Crimson Tide have a trip to Oklahoma City for the Women's College World Series in mind.

If plays like Alexis Mack's foul ball catch are any indication, Alabama could win the whole darn thing.

Alabama ace Montana Fouts was on the mound. The defense behind her was stellar starting in the first inning.

Arkansas' Braxton Burnside lifted a fly ball down in foul territory where Crimson Tide left fielder Alexis Mack was sprinting. Like DeVonta Smith hauling in a Mac Jones pass along the sideline, Mack grabbed the foul ball while hanging over the wall at Bogle Park in Fayetteville.

"Alexis "never drops the ball" Mack," one user wrote on Twitter.

"Wow what a catch by Alexis Mack!" another said.

Mack couldn't help but smile and celebrate after that incredible catch. The Tide's leadoff hitter also added a hit, a walk and a run scored in the team's 5-3 win. They went on to won the series against the top-ranked SEC team and now sit third in SEC softball standings behind the Razorbacks and Florida Gators.

A graduate student who transferred from Oregon after beginning her career at South Carolina, Mack has blossomed into a star in the crimson and white.

She leads the team in hitting and her batting average hasn't dropped below .400 all year long. She's also been a speed demon on the bases, totaling 16 stolen bases.

Mack can clearly do it all on the diamond. That over-the-wall catch is a prime example of that.
