Jarvis Landry's Trick Play TD to OBJ Gave the Cowboys Fits

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry is one of the most reliable players in the National Football League. He's never missed a game during his career and has made the Pro Bowl every year after his rookie season. He's also not afraid to show off his passing ability when his number is called, too.

A matchup with the Dallas Cowboys was a coming out party for the Browns' offense at AT&T Stadium. From quarterback Baker Mayfield to running back Kareem Hunt to the superstar that is Odell Beckham Jr., everyone got involved in Texas.

It all started with the unreal arm of the left-handed Landry.

Early in the first quarter, before the Browns picked apart the Cowboys' defense for 49 points, head coach Kevin Stefanski was just looking to get things going. Then they called a beautiful trick play that made everyone's jaws drop.

On 1st-and-10, quarterback Baker Mayfield took the snap under center and immediately pitched it to running back Nick Chubb. Landry came from the other side to take the reverse. What happened next was mesmerizing.

Landry took a few steps, got his shoulders set, and then uncorked a bomb to OBJ in the end zone for a 37-yard touchdown.

The former LSU Tigers star had thrown five passes in his NFL career up until that point. Only two of them were completed passes and none of them for scores. That all changed with this touchdown pass.

The entire NFL game was wild and a fantasy football dream. The Browns scored nearly 50 points on the road and Dak Prescott threw for over 500 yards in the loss.

With the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles all picking up NFL Week 4 wins, it was the Browns who made the most noise.

Even with the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers all set for Monday night, that probably won't change, either.

The NFL season during the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19 outbreak has been pretty interesting to follow on FOX, CBS and ESPN. Jarvis Landry and his arm helped take that to another level.
