NFL Power Rankings: As Week 3 Begins, the AFC Dominates & NFC Questions Arise

We are only two weeks into the 2022 NFL season but have already seen quite enough to get a good read on a handful teams.

Meanwhile, there are quite a few who have stumbled out of the gate while trying to find their identity. It's clear who the front runners are and who is at the bottom of the totem pole, but the question marks remain in the middle of the remaining teams.

So let's see where all 32 teams rank in our Week 2 Power Rankings.

1. Buffalo Bills (2-0)

We are only two games in an it is clear who the best in the NFL is. Josh Allen and the Bills are not going to let anything get in their way of getting to Arizona in February.

2. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0)

After their first two games, the Chiefs are showing that they are still one of the top teams in not only the AFC but in the entire league. I, like you, am hoping for a Bills/Chiefs AFC Title Game.

3. Los Angeles Chargers (1-1)

The Los Angeles Chargers have already gone through 1/3 of the AFC West gauntlet and went .500 in those two games. If they want to win the division, or even get to the playoffs, they are going to have to take three of their last four divisional games.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)

Of all the NFC teams, the Philadelphia Eagles have looked the best. Their offense, led by Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown, has looked nearly unstoppable.

5. Los Angeles Rams (1-1)

After their celebration party was spoiled by the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams took care of business and bounced back with a win over the Atlanta Falcons.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0)

Following a little scuffle, Tampa's offense finally showed some life at the end of their Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints. And with the GOAT still on their side, there's no telling how far this team could go.

7. Miami Dolphins (2-0)

Miami showed flashes of their deep ball, high flying offense in Week 1. Then after a slow start in their Week 2 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, exploded on to the scene with bomb after bomb on their way to a comeback victory.

8. Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

Attention Baltimore Ravens front office: Pay Lamar Jackson. Despite blowing a massive second half lead to the Miami Dolphins, the Ravens have been playing really good football thus far.

9. Green Bay Packers (1-1)

Nothing has changed. Packers lose game one but Aaron Rodgers still owns the Bears. Chemistry is building in Green Bay and everyone should slow their roll on counting the Packers out.

10. Arizona Cardinals (1-1)

The Cardinals have been a rollercoaster to watch, and if you watched Kyler Murray on almost every two-point conversion, you know exactly what I mean. Sunday was a big win as they only have four more games left to go in D-Hop's suspension.

11. Las Vegas Raiders (0-2)

The Raiders had a win in the bag but faltered and fumbled their first win of the season away on more than one occasion. It's not time to panic, but it's okay to be a little worried with an 0-2 start.

12. Minnesota Vikings (1-1)

Vikings opened up 2022 with a big divisional win over the Packers, but Minnesota and Primetime Kirk Cousins fell completely flat in their 24-7 loss on Monday Night Football to the Eagles.

13. San Francisco 49ers (1-1)

Jimmy G is back in at QB1 following the season ending injury to Trey Lance. Can he get the 49ers back to their third NFC title game in four years?

14. New Orleans Saints (1-1)

Jameis Winston can be a really good quarterback half the time, but can also be a really bad quarterback the other half. There's no QB2 in The Big Easy, so Saints fans need to hope this past Sunday was a fluke.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1)

The Jaguars had a good offseason by hiring a Super Bowl winning coach and kicking all the negative energy to the side. Things seem to be changing for the better in Duval.

16. Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)

This is worrisome. The Bengals still cannot keep Joe Burrow upright as he has been sacked 13 times in their first two games. And it was all for nothing as they're winless.

17. New England Patriots (1-1)

It was not pretty, but the Patriots got an important win on Saturday. One thing is for sure though, their Moneyball approach will not work anymore, and they need to get a receiver like Justin Jefferson or Ja'Marr Chase in next year's draft.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1)

Mitch Trubisky does not seem to be the guy for the Steelers. This offense looks flat and a change in pace is needed. A loss on Thursday, and a bad offensive showing could have Tomlin going to Kenny Pickett sooner than expected.

19. Denver Broncos (1-1)

Russell Wilson has not had the start he, or many of us expected him to have in his first two games in Denver. It's clear the Broncos are still at the bottom of the division and have a steep hill to climb.

20. Tennessee Titans (0-2)

The Titans could be in rebuild mode if the rest of their season goes the way their first two games have. They have not looked good at all, but maybe it's just a slow start.

21. Cleveland Browns (1-1)

The Browns were on the wrong end of Sunday's trend of teams blowing second half leads, and they still have a long way until Deshaun Watson returns from his 11-game suspension.

22. New York Giants (2-0)

Two wins, that's great, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. Well, really, it's just one room: the quarterback room. The Giants better stop winning now or else they might miss out on the top QBs in next year's draft.

23. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

The Cowboys showed some grit and resilience in their first game without Dak Prescott. These are the wins that go a long way at the end of the season. Can Cooper Rush pick up another win or two in his short stint as QB1?

24. Detroit Lions (1-1)

I think we can all agree Dan Campbell is the most lovable coach in all of the NFL but don't let that blind you from what he's really doing: turning Detroit into a good football team.

25. Washington Commanders (1-1)

The Commanders have it all and could make a jump into the top 15 in the upcoming weeks, but their 1-1 record represents their play: inconsistent.

26. Indianapolis Colts (0-1-1)

I think it is safe to say the Colts cannot win in Jacksonville and maybe there is more to fix then at the quarterback position.

27. Chicago Bears (1-1)

The Bears have split their first two games, but a positive is that Justin Fields has taken a step in the right direction in his development. But with not much around him, can he continue his improvement?

28. Carolina Panthers (0-2)

This team showed so much promise last season but has flatlined since. If Baker isn't it, the Panthers should move past Sam Darnold as the second option and bring Matt Corral in.

29. New York Jets (1-1)

Joe Flacco has been dominate throughout his career, so not all that surprising he led a wild comeback against the Browns on Sunday (sarcasm of course.)

30. Houston Texans (0-1-1)

This might be one of the worst rosters, but man do they have a lot of fight in them. The Texans have already showed that they are going to be a pesky team every week.

31. Seattle Seahawks (1-1)

Week 1 had a lot of emotions, and then Week 2 showed just how good this Seahawks team is (they're not). But, get them a quarterback, and a pass rush, and we can talk.

32. Atlanta Falcons (0-2)

Blew a lead in Week 1. Almost came back in Week 2. The Atlanta Falcons find more and more ways to lose football games...and they are going to lose a lot of games this year.
