Before Michael Thomas' $100 million deal in 2019, Odell Beckham Jr. was the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. By that alone, it should be no surprise that OBJ has a net worth that we all would dream of having.

The Cleveland Browns wide receiver and master of the one-handed catch is one of the top targets in the league and will have his net worth only climb each season he plays on his current contract.
Beckham is still early in his career and should play for quite a while longer as one of the more talented receivers in league history. In 2018, he signed a historic extension while playing for the New York Giants, which was worth $95 million over five years with $65 million guaranteed. His $19 million salary per season and the guaranteed money was tops in the league among receivers before New Orleans broke the bank for Michael Thomas.
The 13 highest paid NFL players in 2021 are all quarterbacks save Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt. Arizona Cardinals pass catcher Deandre Hopkins checks in as the highest-paid wideout with a a salary of $27.25 million, making him the 14th highest-paid player in the league.
Despite his competition for the money, Beckham has earned every dollar with one of the greatest starts to a career of all time.
OBJ with the LSU Tigers
As the nation's 20th-ranked high school recruit at his position out of Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. stayed close to home in Louisiana. He moved to Baton Rouge, signing with the LSU Tigers in the 2011 recruiting class along with Jarvis Landry, who was the second-ranked receiver in the class.
Beckham became the third athletic member of his family to sign with LSU. His father, Odell Beckham Sr., played running back in the early 1990s and his mother, Heather Van Norman, was a track runner. He also has a younger brother named Kordell and a younger sister named Jasmine.
In 40 games at Louisiana State University, Beckham racked 143 career receptions for 2,340 yards and 12 touchdowns. His third season was by far his best, catching 59 passes for 1,152 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. That year, Beckham earned first-team All-American and All-SEC selections and was awarded the Paul Hornung Award for college football's most versatile player.
This all helped him rise up draft boards and be selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.

The receiver proved exactly why he was a first-round pick from the moment he debuted for the Giants in Week Five of 2014. In his first NFL season, playing in just 12 games, Beckham caught 91 passes for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning a trip to the Pro Bowl and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
He followed that up with two more, great regular seasons and earned spots in the Pro Bowl in each of his first three years, including being named a Second-Team All-Pro in both 2015 and 2016.
His most memorable moment during his time in New York came on a Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys when he made a one-hand catch falling into the end zone and blew up social media. It not only showed his talent in the flashiest way, but will always be one of the coolest catches in National Football League history.
In 2017, Beckham had a huge set-back, spraining his ankle during the preseason before fracturing it after playing in just four games. During the following offseason, the Giants exercised their fifth-year option on Beckham, and then eventually signed him to a record five-year contract extension worth $95 million.
But throughout all of 2018, despite GM Dave Gettleman's pandering, there were rumors of the star wide receiver being moved.
Trade to Cleveland

On March 13, 2019, Beckham was traded to the Cleveland Browns to reunite with his college teammate, Jarvis Landry. With a young quarterback in Baker Mayfield and a star running back duo in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, the Browns and Beckham have a better opportunity moving forward to reach the playoffs. Beckham has only appeared in three career postseason games, with his first one in New York being surrounded with questions about his infamous boat trip before the game.

Beckham has yet to find a consistency since being moved to Cleveland. He tore his ACL in week 7 against the Bengals during the 2020 season. He's rediscovering his rhythm so far in 2021. If Beckham can stay healthy, the Brows have a roster more than capable of making the Super Bowl.
Endorsements, Commercials & Philanthropy
His off-the-field earnings pumped up his net worth as well, with endorsements from Head & Shoulders, Dunkin Donuts, Lenovo, EA Sports, Foot Locker, Daniel Wellington and some others. Not only that, Beckham was featured on the cover of Madden 16.
Most notably, OBJ signed the richest endorsement deal in NFL history with Nike. Originally valued at more than $29 million, nikekicks.com reported that the shoe deal would ultimately be worth $48 million over eight years if all incentives were met.
Odell Beckham Jr. Net Worth 2021
In the first eight seasons of his career as a professional football player, Beckham made $51.1 million from his contract with an extra $26 million in signing bonuses, according to Spotrac.
OBJ has also donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to various causes and charities over the years, including pledging $500,000 for repairs after flooding ravaged Louisiana back in 2016 and donating $100,00 in relief of Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
With tons of endorsements and a huge contract, it should surprise no one that Odell Beckham Jr.'s net worth is estimated to be around $40 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com. That number is sure to grow over the next few years as he gets paid by the Browns and further established himself as one the top American football players in the United States, and eventually signs another deal and receives even more endorsements.
