Tim Tebow Was Awkwardly Asked About Virginity, And Was All Class

Tim Tebow's sex life, or lack thereof, used to be one of the biggest stories around. Not that it's anyone's business but his own, but those virginity rumors can probably be put to bed now that he is married to former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.

The 33-year-old former NFL quarterback, two-time national champion, 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, college football analyst and minor league professional baseball player is now a household name. Back in 2009 during his senior season, he was still one of the most eligible bachelors in the sports world.

I mean, this guy truly had it all by his senior year. Two national championships. A Heisman. Good looks and built like an ox. Plus, he was a passionate dude who seemed genuine when he spoke.

Naturally, fans wondered if Tebow had girls flocking to him from his days at Jacksonville's Nease High School to the University of Florida. One reporter at SEC Media Days asked him if he was saving himself for marriage, according to Sporting News, and Tebow responded with a simple yes.

Years later in 2017, one fan asked how he managed to avoid said female companions, and No. 15 was all class.

Tebow joined the Sway In The Morning radio show alongside The Office's Craig Robinson, and plenty of laughs followed. The former Denver Broncos and Florida Gators passer sang a snippet of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, talked about strip clubs and was asked how he "managed to avoid all these thots."

Thots, by the way, is a derogatory term toward women that you can find on Google.

Tebow was all class in his response.

"You know, I think for me it's to stay focused on certain things. I think when your focus is on certain things that matter — my faith, loving people, helping people, caring for people — it's not about focusing on the things you're not gonna do. It's on focusing on the things you are gonna do, and for me that was the biggest thing," he explained.

That is about as great as one can handle that question.

Now, I don't know anything about Tim's love life besides the fact that he married his South African wife in Cape Town, South Africa this year and has spent a ton of time documenting their relationship on social media during the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19 outbreak.

But I do know that he seems very in love with his Miss Universe 2017 partner.

"I've been looking forward to three things," Tebow told People of his wedding night. "The first moment I see her in her wedding dress, the first kiss, and the first dance together as man and wife. It's such a special night. I've been waiting my entire life for someone special, who I can spend the rest of my life with. I was waiting for the right person to come along. And now I'm marrying Demi. I can't wait to see what our future holds. All of my dreams have come true. It was 100 percent worth the wait."

Timmy and Demi are already growing their family, and seem perfectly happy together. Let's just be happy the New York Mets minor leaguer found his forever person.
