Golfer Bryson DeChambeau is quickly becoming one of the most exciting and well-known golfers on the PGA Tour.
The 27-year-old has eight PGA Tour wins and seems to be a force to be reckoned with ever since emerging from quarantine some 40 pounds of muscle heavier thanks to a ridiculous diet and workout routine.
"The Mad Scientist" must have done something right in the lab, because he's capturing the golf world's attention with his Happy Gilmore-like 400-yard drives while still sinking his putts.
DeChambeau became the fifth player in history to win both the NCAA Division I championship and U.S. Amateur in the same year back in 2015. He won his first major at the 2020 U.S Open and followed that up with a win in the 2021 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Orlando, besting a field that included Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler.
DeChambeau's career is only trending upward. He figures to be a major player at Augusta during the Masters, the PGA Championship and The Open. That means the professional golfer will be in the spotlight more, which begs the question: Who is Bryson DeChambeau dating?

Bryson DeChambeau is reportedly dating Sophia Phalen Bertolami, an Instagram model with more than 60,000 followers.
According to The Sun, Sophia is much more than selfies and seductive smiles. She went to high school in Massachusetts and is a 2014 graduate of Chapman University, where she studied Kinesiology and Nutrition in California. She then furthered her studies as a nursing student in pharmacology at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She announced in May 2020 she was starting a residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Bertolami also has her very own swimwear line with La Isla, according to her Instagram page. She often shows off her "large cup" bikini collection on social media.
The most interesting thing about Sophia isn't that she's dating a golfing star. It's that she owns a pet pig that weighs more than 1,000 pounds named Stella.
Why does she own a massive pig? She thought she was buying a mini pig at the time.
"4 years ago, I thought I adopted a mini pig. Today, Stella is 1100 lbs," she wrote on her social media account named @sophiaandstella in 2017.
When Did They Start Dating?
DeChambeau and his lovely lady began going steady sometime before the 2018 Ryder Cup.
Sophia congratulated her man after he won his first major championship — the 2020 U.S. Open — in convincing fashion at the Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York.
"Biggest congratulations to this guy!!! Beyond proud of you B! @brysondechambeau," she wrote.
Back in June 2018, she accompanied DeChambeau on a trip to the Hamptons in New York and posted a photo of them. In August 2018, she posted a photo of them holding hands at a golf course.
"Despite being a mad scientist, I'll always love holding your hand," she wrote. "So proud of you B!"
DeChambeau, however, doesn't post Sophia on his Instagram. Whether or not that's because they split up or another reason is anyone's guess.
DeChambeau was vying for a U.S Open win during the final round on Father's Day 2021 alongside Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson. If the golf star and Sophia are still together, you can bet she'll be there to congratulate him if he can take home the trophy. Just don't expect her to play caddie for him anytime soon.
