Quarterback Ryan Tannehill transformed his NFL career from washed up Miami Dolphins franchise quarterback to backup Tennessee Titans quarterback and then became Nashville's $118-million man in the 2020 offseason. The big reason for the raise was because he and running back Derrick Henry led the Titans to playoff wins over the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens all the way to the 2020 AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on to win Super Bowl LIV.

From Tannehill's days as a wide receiver at Texas A&M University to now, he probably wouldn't be where he is without his wife Lauren Tannehill. Like so many other supportive and successful spouses, Ryan Tannehill's wife ranks right up there alongside Drew and Brittany Brees and Philip and Tiffany Rivers. They have some work to do to catch NFL power couples like Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen or Russell Wilson and Ciara.
Lauren currently has her hands full with two small children, but before that she was a successful model starring in commercials and popping up on billboards.
What makes Lauren different from other player wives is she's not just into the glitz and glam. Get this: She's a big fan of guns and fishing.

Lauren Tannehill, originally Lauren Ufer, was born in Atlanta on July 28, 1988. She was an athlete in high school, playing tennis and competing on the cheerleading team.
She attended and graduated from Texas A&M, the same school Tannehill played football at. Tannehill was drafted out of the SEC school in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Dolphins. Lauren and Ryan actually met on a spring break trip in Panama City, Florida in 2009.
The Tannehills got engaged in 2011 while Ryan was a redshirt senior and starting quarterback for the Aggies. They officially wedded in Mexico in January 2012 and have been happily married since his rookie year with the Dolphins.
The Couple Has Two Kids
The Tannehills have two beautiful, blonde-haired kids together. In 2016, Lauren gave birth to son Steel Tannehill. Two years later, the couple welcomed a daughter into the family, Stella Rose Tannehill.
"It's such a blessing to see the birth of your child and the love you feel immediately," Ryan Tannehill told the Palm Beach Post after Steel's birth. "You always hear about it when other people experience it but you don't always get it until you experience it yourself. It's a special moment, special time, a really exciting thing to be a dad."
Lauren posts pictures of the two youngsters all over her Instagram, which has garnered more than 54,000 followers. She also has nearly 30,000 followers on Twitter.

Both Lauren and Ryan Tannehill have spoken about their faith.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the pair are devout Christians. Lauren believes one should "date to marry," sends her husband Bible verses before each game and attended a Dolphins' wives bible study when the two were living in Miami.
Even going back to their college days, the Tannehills were that way.
"Our first conversations were funny and deep and we both shared that we loved the Lord from the beginning," she said, according to the Sun-Sentinel. "I knew he was the one by three months into the relationship."

Ever since dropping jaws in a red dress at the 2012 NFL Draft, Lauren Tannehill's face has been everywhere. Later that year, she appeared in every episode of HBO's "Hard Knocks."
She's worked with modeling agencies in Houston and Miami, gracing magazines and catalogs while modeling Gucci handbags and DaVinci wedding dresses. In 2014, she appeared on a billboard for Levinson Jewelers. She's also starred in commercials for Levears Earrings.
"You might be fantastic to look at, but if you're not beautiful on the inside, you're not going to get very far, and she's both, so she's kind of a natural at it," Director of Houston's Page.713 Model & Talent Agency Erik Bechtol told the Sun-Sentinel. "She's very sweet, humble and just a joy to work with. She's just an all-around-sweet Texas girl."
These days, Lauren's modeling career seems to be quieter. She still partners with brands and companies like Country Crock and UPPAbaby on Instagram. She use to work as a cardiology assistant before her modeling career took off.
Lauren Tannehill Loves Guns and Fishing
Considering both grew up in Texas, it's no surprise the Tannehills are into hunting and fishing.
Lauren herself has posted pictures on social media shooting a handgun. Back in 2014, she made headlines after forgetting her husband's AR-15 rifle in the back of a rental car. A New York woman who rented the SUV after the couple turned it into police, and the Tannehills later claimed it.
Lauren's life as an outdoorswoman isn't limited to the shooting range. She's also pretty good with the fishing rod and has participated in Miami Dolphins fishing tournaments. She even hooked a 19-pound tuna.
Yep, it's official. Ryan and Lauren Tannehill are the perfect All-American couple. While he's used to throwing touchdowns (and sometimes interceptions) against the likes of the New York Jets on ESPN, it seems his biggest score was the one he put a ring on.
