On the latest episode of WWE Raw, Ric Flair was celebrating his 70th birthday, and a party was thrown at the end of the show. While the roster stood at the top of the ramp, special guest, including WWE Hall of Famers Sting, Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels, and Kurt Angle, walked to the ring after being introduced by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

When it was time for Flair to come out, the cameras quickly went to backstage, showing former WWE Champion Batista storm into Flair's dressing room. All of a sudden, there was banging behind the door, and Batista came out dragging The Nature Boy. Batista then uttered the words, "Hey, Hunter. Do I have your attention now?" Triple H then ran to the back to attend Flair before the cameras shut off.

Following the attack on Monday Night Raw, both Flair and Batista went to Twitter to express their take on what happened. While Flair stated, "I want to thank WWE for throwing such a wonderful birthday celebration with some of my closest friends. As for Batista... be careful whose party you crash, big man!, Batista responded, "Party's just gettin started my man."

This altercation stemmed from the reunion of Evolution during the SmackDown 1000 episode. Batista took a dig at Triple H by stating that, despite being a 14-time World Champion, he has never accomplished the feat of beating him. "There is nothing this man hasn't done in this business... except beat me," Batista said to a shocking reaction from both Evolution and the live crowd. The segment ended with a hug, albeit it was a bit reluctant.
Batista has stated in many interviews since departing WWE in 2014 that he was interested in making a return to the company one more time to feud with Triple H, since he was such a major part of his successful WWE run.
Now, it looks like this desire will be fulfilled, as it is now confirmed that the two will face off at WrestleMania 35 on April 7.
