Dustin Hunter Johnson was born in Columbia, South Carolina on June 22, 1984. He attended Coastal Carolina University and majored in Sports Management. DJ won the Monroe Invitational and the Northeast Amateur as an amateur.

He also played on the championship-winning 2007 Walker Cup and Palmer Cup teams.

PGA Career

Johnson received his PGA Tour card in 2008. He started gaining momentum in 2013 and hit his stride in 2016.

DJ's 2016 U.S. Open victory was his first major championship win. He left Augusta victorious for the first time in 2020. Six of his 24 PGA Tour wins are from World Golf Championships events and six are from FedEX Cup playoff events.
